The BD-ASP-0711A asphalt mixture theoretical maximum relative density tester is designed according to the requirements stipulated in T 0711-2011 "Theoretical Maximum Relative Density Test of Asphalt Mixtures (Vacuum Method)" in the standard JTG E20-2011 "Testing Procedures for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures for Highway Engineering" of the Ministry of Transportation of the People's Republic of China.
This instrument is suitable for measuring the theoretical maximum relative density of asphalt mixture by vacuum method, and can be used for asphalt mixture mix design, road condition investigation or pavement construction quality management to calculate void ratio, compaction degree, etc. However, it is not suitable for asphalt mixtures with porous aggregates with a water absorption rate greater than 3%.
