Product introduction
The TLD-410 Personal TLD Albedo Neutron Dosimeter is a multifunctional badge-style TLD albedo neutron personal dosimeter. It uses a combination of 6LiF and 7LiF thermoluminescent detectors to measure neutron and gamma radiation doses, including slow and intermediate-energy neutron doses in mixed fields.
The dosimeter has four internal slots to accommodate thermoluminescent detectors of various shapes and sizes. These configurations can be used to measure X-ray, gamma, beta, and neutron doses. The dosimeter is mounted using a hanging card and is numbered with a self-adhesive barcode.
For neutron and gamma radiation dose measurements, two thermoluminescent detectors are required to distinguish neutrons from the mixed field. One thermoluminescent detector is neutron-sensitive and the other is insensitive. For example, 7Li is insensitive to neutrons but only to gamma rays, while 6Li is sensitive to both.
