Product introduction
TLD-240 Finger Ring TLD Dosimeter is a multifunctional finger-tip dosimeter used for measuring X-ray, gamma-ray, and beta-ray doses to the hands. The dosimeter comes with two types of finger ring covers; the detector can be directly placed in the groove of the ring cover. This dosimeter features easy operation, moisture resistance, and water resistance.
Configuration
The TLD-240 finger ring personal TLD dosimeter uses a LiF:Mg,Cu,P detector with dimensions of φ3.6×0.4mm or φ4.5×0.5mm. The detector is housed in a tissue-equivalent plastic ring, and can be removed for reading.
Technical Specifications
Each finger ring dosimeter uses one thermoluminescent detector.
(1) Color
Red and blue.
(2) Detector
The thermoluminescent finger ring personal dosimeter uses a domestically produced LiF:Mg,Cu,P detector, with dimensions of φ3.6×0.4mm. Its dosimetric characteristics are as follows:
1) Measured radiation: Photons with energy greater than 15 keV; Beta rays with energy greater than 70 keV.
2) Photon measurement range: 0.1 mSv to 1 Gy (linear); 1 Gy to 20 Gy (superlinear).
3) Tissue-equivalent.
4) Consistency: ≤5% (related to detector dispersion).
5) Residual thermoluminescent signal: Less than 0.2% of the original signal reading.
6) Repeatability: For a 137Cs dose of 1 Gy, the standard deviation of 10 measurements is less than 2%.
(3) Measurement range of the finger ring dosimeter
1) X and γ radiation: 0.1 mSv to 10 Gy.
2) High-energy β radiation: 0.4 mSv to 10 Gy.
(4) Detector Classification
The detectors used in the finger ring thermoluminescent dosimeter are mainly classified into three types for different purposes:
3) Background control dosimeter: Used to measure background radiation.
4) Calibration dosimeter: Used to calculate the user's dose.
5) User dosimeter: Issued to the user for personal use.
