Purpose
The BD-6307-259 Petroleum Products Water Soluble Acid and Alkali Tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB/T 259 "Test Methods for Water Soluble Acid and Alkali of Petroleum Products". This instrument is suitable for determining water soluble acid and alkali content in liquid petroleum products, additives, lubricating grease, wax, and waxy products.
The tester uses distilled water or alcohol to extract water soluble acid and alkali. The extracted liquids are then analyzed using methyl orange or phenolphthalein indicators to observe color changes, or an acidometer is used to determine pH levels, enabling detection of water soluble acid and alkali presence.
